Volunteer

Our events only happen because of volunteers

Whether you are a lawyer willing to sit on a panel, a student who wants to organize events, or someone happy to help out on the day — there is a place for you.

Roles

Where we need help

Panelist

Lawyers, judges, law students and other professionals who join a panel discussion or give feedback at an event, and answer students' questions about the field.

One evening per event

Organizer

Join the organizing team behind our events: planning programmes, contacting panelists and schools, communications and social media.

Regular meetings during the season

Event-day helper

The operational and logistical side on the day: setup, registration desk, guiding participants, timekeeping, photography.

One event at a time

Case writer (legal professional)

Every mock trial needs a case, and the case has to be written by legal professionals — lawyers, judges or advanced law students who draft the facts, evidence and charges students argue.

A few sessions before the event

Workshop help

Host a short workshop on argumentation, evidence or courtroom procedure for participants before an event.
