Costs
What goes into making a mock trial possible
Every event is free for students, which means each of these costs is covered by donations, partners and volunteers.
Venue
Courtrooms, halls and classrooms — plus the equipment and setup an event day needs.
Food & drinks
Coffee, snacks and lunch for participants, panelists and volunteers during long event days.
Case materials
Printing case files, evidence packets, judge sheets, name tags, etc.
Awards & recognition
Certificates, small prizes and photography so students can keep something from the day.
Running the association
Website, communications and the everyday admin costs of a registered non-profit.

Transparent by default
As a registered Finnish association, our finances are approved each spring at the annual general meeting. We never share donor details. Companies and foundations that need an invoice or a receipt can email youthmocktrial.ry@gmail.com.
